She states that many women are making tapes, having found in video a way "to share and change their life experience." According to Milano, the one missing element is a place where women's works can be shown. The first Women's Video Festival was such a venue, and Milano stresses the importance of its continuation. Considering the positive response from individuals across the U.S., Milano believes the Festival can now grow from a regional festival into a national event.
