Finally

Finally is Baldino's personal video chronicle of Barack Obama's presidential inauguration on January 20, 2009. Visiting Washington as an ordinary citizen, Baldino ambitiously resolves to attend both the swearing-in ceremony on the National Mall and the parade in front of the White House. The artist waits in long lines before sunrise, converses with fellow audience-members and captures her own footage of the First Family, documenting the elation shared by millions on that blustery winter day.
