Part of a series of locative media-works, LoVid documents a walking tour of Harlem guided by a smartphone app that unlocks video, sound, and text in geographically specific locations. iParade#2 is described by the artists as exploring the "relationships between human memory and physical places, as well as displaced memories and technology." The project is structured in four "steps," making reference not only to steps through the city, but also steps through history, time, and across mediaa literal "parade" of iPhones and Androids, reappropriated as platforms for interactive art.
