EAI is committed to providing captions, subtitles, and transcripts for our titles whenever possible. Requests for these services can currently be made to cstrange@eai.org.

If captions are required within the span of an academic semester or sooner, a small administrative fee will be charged to compensate for the time EAI staff and/or proprietary transcription services needed to complete the request. However, this fee is not meant to be prohibitive and may be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

In the long-term, EAI looks forward to integrating comprehensive models for audiovisual accessibility including providing captioning and transcript options for as much of our collection as possible. EAI was founded with a vision of providing access to video art, something we hope to reemphasize through continued focus on audiovisual access.
